Further Masonic Light

There are many Masonic organizations that a Master Mason may become a member. These include, but are not limited to, the York Rite, the Scottish Rite, and Shriners. These organizations are made up of Master Masons and are involved in many charities and philanthropies in the State of Oklahoma and the United States. The Lawton offices for these organizations can be contacted or visited at the address’ and/or phone numbers listed here. Additionally, the Most Worshipful Grand Master has published Decision 1 and 2 which continues the Perpetual Path Program for those EA’s and FC’s who wish to become life members by purchasing a Perpetual Membership with their respective lodge and completing their further degree(s) in a one day degree workshop, and waives the 6 month waiting period and requirement to show proficiency in the Master Mason degree in order to join these appendant bodies of Freemasonry.

SCOTTISH RITE – Lawton Ok 73501. Scottish Rite Reunions are in October and April at Guthrie, Oklahoma. Currently no local scheduled meetings, but please contact the Lodge Secretary at 580-355-0006 for further membership information.

LAWTON/FORT SILL SHRINE CLUB – 1814 SW “C” Ave. Lawton Ok 73501. Meetings are held on the 3d Tuesday of each month at the Mt. Scott Masonic Lodge #540, please contact their Lodge Secretary at 580-355-5400 for further membership information.
